Maritime courses

Apt Safety Group organizes courses for personnel operating in the maritime sector including: basic and advanced fire-fighting courses, first-aid, survival at sea practical training, use of lifesaving appliances and PSSR courses. Every course is conceived and developed in accordance with IMO STCW’95/10 laws and is approved by the Ministry of Infrastructures and Transport.

PSSR – PERSONAL SAFETY AND SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY – IMO STCW’95/10

The course provides all the personnel operating on ships with safety training in accordance with IMO STCW’95/10.

RESCUE AND SURVIVAL AT SEA – IMO STCW’95/10

The course provides all the personnel operating on ships with a sea survival training session in accordance with IMO STCW’95/10.

The course provides theoretical and practical knowledge on first aid elements in case of accident or medical emergency at sea.

TRAINING COURSE FOR TRAINERS

The Ministry of infrastructures and Transport disciplines the “training course for maritime trainers” through Decree of December 17th, 2015 published on the Official Journal, January 1st, 2016. The course provides specific training and knowledge necessary to acquire competences in terms of plannings, development and provisions of maritime training courses.

The course allows all the personnel with security tasks to acquire the right competences in accordance with the Decree n. 1347 of December 3rd, 2013.

The course provides the on-board firefighting team members with principles of breathing apparatuses use in presence of toxic gases and non-breathable air.

EMERGENCY TRAINING ON BOARD

The activity consists in supporting the Safety Officer in training the on-board personnel and in supervising firefighting drills, by providing useful suggestions to improve intervention capacities.
