The course aims at updating knowledge about the use of 3rd-category PPE and includes the procedures for temporary work at height, entry and intervention in confined spaces or environments suspected of being polluted in case of emergency.

The program includes a test before starting the refresher course. The test is made up of 20 questions with multiple choice to verify the knowledge on 3^RD category PPE use, the risks of fall during temporary activities at height and safety in confined spaces

Practical sessions

– Fall protection PPE use

• Helmet with chinstraps
• harness
• connectors
• retractable fall arrester
• positioning lanyard
• double hooks with integrated absorber
• portable ladder with integrated lifeline

-Fall protection PPE and use of equipment necessary to manage entry, exit and emergency in confined spaces

• Helmet with chinstraps use
• Harness use
• Use of airway protective devices(demonstration)
• Use of self-contained breathing apparatus (smoke room)
• Use of tripod and fall protection devices (self-rescue)
• (Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus EEBA)

After the practical session, the initial test will be repeated in order to check knowledge and skills acquired during the course
